Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes at Odds After She ‘Pushed for the Move’ Outside of Los Angeles

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are facing challenges in their relationship following their recent move to Montecito, California. Sources close to the couple reveal that the transition has not been easy for them.

The couple, who have been together since 2011 and share two daughters, decided to relocate to the picturesque town known for its celebrity residents and serene environment. However, the change in scenery has brought about unexpected stressors.

An insider recently told the Life & Style magazine that the moving decision was “pushed” by Eva, who didn’t want to raise their daughters in LA.

“It was Eva who pushed for the move. She wanted to raise [daughters Esmeralda, 9, and Amada, 8] outside of Los Angeles, and Ryan agreed,” the source stated.

They added that the Barbie star is “restless and needs the action of a big city.”

They also suggested Gosling hasn’t adjusted to the quiet life – and probably won’t anytime soon after luring the family to London to film his latest flick Project Hail Mary

The insider added: “The family has spent hardly any time in Montecito this summer. That works well for Ryan, but it hasn’t been great for putting down roots.

“Eva has more control in the relationship, and the kids keep them together.”
