Jenna Ortega supported her “Beetlejuice” co-star Winona Ryder in a sweet moment captured on video before their film’s world premiere at the Venice Film Festival. They were seen arriving in Venice with their cast members as photographers took their pictures.
In the ET video post, there’s a moment where Ryder seems hesitant to take off her sunglasses while photographers are heard repeatedly telling her to do so in the background.
The “Stranger Things” actor, looks to Ortega, who appears to tell her, “No, you don’t have to.”
People in the comments section of the ET post praised the support demonstrated by Ortega.
In the Tim Burton sequel to his original 1988 “Beetlejuice,” Ortega portrays Ryder’s daughter.
Ryder reprises her role as Lydia Deetz, with Ortega playing Astrid Deetz in the new film. Other cast members reprising their roles from the original include Michael Keaton and Catherine O’Hara.
“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” which premiered at the Venice Film Festival out of competition on Wednesday, is due out in theaters on Sept. 6.
